Teixeira: Commute to sea

Dionatan Teixeira in early October became the player of FC Fleetwood Town. His monthly hosting from Stoke City has been extended by the end of 2015. Since his arrival to his new team has become a support of third division of England team.

Dionatan, the reason for leaving Stoke?

– The answer is very simple: I need to play regularly. And in Fleetwood I can ensure we play twice a week.

What would you say about your new club?

– The city is relatively small in English terms, it has only 26,000 inhabitants. In the third English league are all teams from larger cities. We also have the smallest stadium with capacity for 5,300 spectators.

Fleetwood is located by the Irish Sea. For you it is like home in Brazil …

– Well, yes … (smile). Only the temperature of water and air is a little bit different …

Where do you live?

– Commute to Fleetwood. From Stoke is like 150 kilometers.

You mentioned, you are on set regularly. But last Saturday in the English cup you didn’t play. The reason?

-In The Fleetwood I am on hosting, in English Cup I was unable to commence.

On what level are the third English league matches?

– It’s a decent hard work. It is mainly fighting and frequent duels. I have no problem with it, it suits me.

The third league is a national competition. Do you have to fly for opponents?

– No, we travel everywhere by bus. The furthest we go to Gillingham, which is about 500 km.

On hosting in Fleetwood you are up to 01/02/2016. What is next?

– Return to Stoke and want to fight for a place in the lineup.
