Dionatan Teixeira: broken leg!

On the first Wednesday of November Norbert Gyömbér broke his ankle. On the same day, another player of CSM – Agency was seriously injured. Dionatan Teixeira finished training at Stoke City with a broken leg!

Johnny what exactly happened?

– In the fight my team mate Palacios stepped on my right foot. I knew something is wrong. And I was right, I have broken bones in the foot.

Did they operate you?

– Yes, in Blackpool.

What was your first thought when you were injured?

– I was sad. In the previous round of Premier League against West Ham I have sat on the bench. And on Sunday I had a very good chance to get on the field and the Spurs attributed to a first start in the English league. Pitty…

In previous weeks, you played as a reserve?

– Yes. A level of competition? About the same as it is in Slovak league.

What are you doing these days?

– I’m sitting with legs lined with the plaster. I should wear it to the end of the year. The good thing is that I can spend some more time with my wife Jessica and son Miguel.

In England you are from July. What do you say about your work so far at Stoke City?

– In my life there has been much of a change. I became a player in the club, that operates in the top league. I had to get used to a lot of new things. For example, the enormous speed and commitment to training.

What was most difficult?

– Learning English … (smile)

I thought you tell me that the most difficult was to drive on the left side.

No, with this, I did not have a problem. The first kilometer was unusual, but since then it’s okay. From Training Centre of Stoke City I live about thirty minutes by car. And I am always on time … 🙂
