Norbert Gyömbér: dreams come true!

Noro, has signed a contract with AS Roma. What does this mean to you?

– Fulfilling a dream. It’s fantastic that I became a member of a great club.

So do you already believe that you have become a teammate of legendary Francesco Totti?

– As I have already signed all the papers I do. I am happy that this has finally been closed. It took longer, but fortunately everything went well.

When did you learn that you are interested by AS Roma?

– It was about halfway through June I was driving when I heard from Mr. Vengloš the fact that he has contacted representatives of AS Roma.

Your reaction?

– I remained nervous … I had to pull down a little bit… (laughs)

During the last season You were in Rome very often, because your surgery was done in the capital of Italy. Did you think that in few months you will come back as a part of AS?

– No way … At the clinic I was more than five times. Moreover, early, I visited a duel of AS Rom with a friend as a spectator against Napoli (smile).

With what number you will play?

– My favorite 23.

Where do you stay?

– For now I am in the same hotel where the other newcomers of AS are. For example, Džeko, or Salah.

Have you trained with the team?

– Not yet. On Tuesday I attended a medical examination, where I met with some mates. Yesterday I was at the training center of AS training by myself as the rest of the tem had the day off. Today at 16.45 I hav the first training with team. Then I should also meet with coach Rudi Garcia,. We are leaving tomorrow to Verona for the first league match. I hope I will be in the nominations.
